The Ellicottville Fire Department responded to 27 total calls for the month of May. They are broken down into 1 structure fire, 6 fire alarms, 1 motor vehicle accident, 1 landing zone, 6 hazardous conditions, including trees or wires in the road, and 1 mutual aid for a structure fire in Concord.This brings the total number of calls since January 1st to 111.

Ellicottville/Great Valley Ambulance had a total of 21 dispatches. There were 13 dispatches in Ellicottville,2 in Great Valley, 3 in Mansfield, 1 mutual aid in Little Valley, and 1 mutual aid in Ashford. 12 were transported by EGV Ambulance and 5 were cancelled prior to arrival of EMS. This brings the total number of dispatches since January 1st to 250.

The Ellicottville Fire Department is seeking the communities interest is holding a CPR class in the future. If interested, please contact the Ellicottville Fire Department at [email protected].

The Ellicottville Fire Department and Ellicottville/Great Valley Ambulance are always looking for volunteers. These volunteer roles include firefighters, ambulance drivers, and emergency medical technicians. Training for these roles will be provided by the department. Ellicottville/Great Valley Ambulance is a joint service through the Ellicottville and Great Valley Fire Departments. To join, you must first become a member of one of these fire companies. To join the Ellicottville Fire Department to join for either fire, ambulance, or both, please email [email protected] with your name and contact information and we will send you information about how to apply, or stop by the Ellicottville Fire Department on any Tuesday night at 6 pm.

Tonight before our monthly Fire Department Meeting, Jackson Kruszynski was awarded "The Gerald J. Buckenmeyer Memorial FASNY Volunteer Scholarship" by a representative of FASNY.
FASNY is the Firefighter Association of The State of New York.
Jackson is a volunteer Fireman, EMT and a Senior in High School

The Ellicottville Fire Department is seeking community interest in a CPR course.

We are also always looking for volunteers. These volunteer roles include firefighters, ambulance drivers, and emergency medical technicians. Training for these roles will be provided by the department.

The Ellicottville Fire Department responded to 27 total calls for the month of February. They are broken down into 4 structure fires 2 alarms, and 4 hazardous conditions, including trees or wires in the road.This brings the total number of calls since January 1st to 95

Ellicottville/Great Valley Ambulance had a total of 46 dispatches. Out of these, 2 were turned over to Mercy Flight. There were 15 dispatches in Ellicottville, 10 in Great Valley, 3 in Mansfield, 4 in Humphery, 2 in Little Valley, and 3 in Ashford. This brings the total number of dispatches since January 1st to 229.

The Cattaraugus County Office of Emergency Services is offering a BLS CPR Refresher at the Ellicottville Fire Department. You must pre register at https://cattco.enrollware.com
