The Ellicottville Fire Department responded to 27 total calls for the month of May. They are broken down into 1 structure fire, 6 fire alarms, 1 motor vehicle accident, 1 landing zone, 6 hazardous conditions, including trees or wires in the road, and 1 mutual aid for a structure fire in Concord.This brings the total number of calls since January 1st to 111.
Ellicottville/Great Valley Ambulance had a total of 21 dispatches. There were 13 dispatches in Ellicottville,2 in Great Valley, 3 in Mansfield, 1 mutual aid in Little Valley, and 1 mutual aid in Ashford. 12 were transported by EGV Ambulance and 5 were cancelled prior to arrival of EMS. This brings the total number of dispatches since January 1st to 250.

The Ellicottville Fire Department and Ellicottville/Great Valley Ambulance are always looking for volunteers. These volunteer roles include firefighters, ambulance drivers, and emergency medical technicians. Training for these roles will be provided by the department. Ellicottville/Great Valley Ambulance is a joint service through the Ellicottville and Great Valley Fire Departments. To join, you must first become a member of one of these fire companies.
