Our staff, along with library staff from around the state study and train to be library associates, visiting other systems to share resources, spaces, and ideas. Over the course of the training, each person creates a capstone they present at graduation. It's a very special day in LibraryLand! Congrats to all our graduates!

🌈 Books build empathy. Stories create belonging. Read With Pride celebrates LGBTQ+ voices and the importance of inclusive collections that serve as windows into new experiences, mirrors that reflect our own lives, and doors that inspire connection and understanding. Inspired by Howard County Library System’s commitment to equity and lifelong learning, this campaign supports Friends & Foundation of HCLS and helps fund literacy programs, educational initiatives, community events, and equitable access to resources throughout Howard County.
