Hi there, neighbors!

We just wanted the community to be aware that the conditions for burning are too hazardous right now.

Fire departments across the county have been battling out of control brush and grass fires for several days now. Some of these fires were from careless or inattentive landowners.

Please remember that every time a department has to respond to a fire, it places the public, as well as the firefighters in danger, and it is hard on equipment and supplies.

Please maintain awareness and prepare well when burning.

We also request that while fire weather conditions are so dangerous, please do not burn anything.
The national weather service does issue fire weather advisories. Please look them up prior to burning

Finally, YOU are responsible for any fire that you start. That includes any damage to property, whether it be yours or another landowner nearby. You are also responsible for any loss of life or injury that may be caused to any party from a fire that you start, including first responders.

Please consider this prior to starting that fire. Is it really worth it?
