Hi everyone. I have been busy learning all NC notary laws and performing notary services. I have also expanded into doing field services for insurance companies. That has been pretty neat. I plan on expanding my business even more soon by adding other services such as Appostilles, courier services, and I-9 verifications. I need to continue to learn before I expand still. Life is a journey so hang on and enjoy the ride.

The document date can be different than the date of notarization. The date of the notarial act on the notarial certificate must exactly match the date of notarization.

FYI:

In NC, a notary notarizes a DMV vehicle title for the seller only. Any time a vehicle title transfer is needed, make sure the SELLER personally appears in front of the notary, with proper and current ID. The DMV normally notarizes the buyers signature at the time they visit for registration.
