This Memorial Day, the Kiwanis Club of Elkton proudly placed American flags at American Home and Hardware as a tribute to the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This meaningful display is part of a long-standing annual tradition for our club, honoring the true spirit of Memorial Day and bringing our community together in remembrance each year.

Each flag stands as a symbol of remembrance, gratitude, and respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedoms.

✨ Division 6 DCM – Service in Action! ✨

On May 16, 2026, Division 6 Lt. Governor Patty Justice led a successful Division Council Meeting (DCM), graciously hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Loch Raven.

The meeting brought together dedicated Kiwanians to share updates, exchange ideas, and continue strengthening our service to the community. But the highlight of the day was putting service into action! 💙

Attendees rolled up their sleeves and assembled care bags filled with essential items for children served by CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). These bags will help provide comfort and support to youth who need it most—reminding them they are seen, valued, and not alone.

A heartfelt thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Loch Raven for hosting and to everyone who participated in making this meaningful project possible. Together, we are making a difference—one child and one community at a time. 🌟

🍋 Get Ready for Fair Favorites! 🍩

The Kiwanis Club of Elkton is gearing up for our annual Lemonade Stand at the Cecil County Fair this July, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Stop by and enjoy what many say is the best-tasting fresh-squeezed lemonade at the Fair—a long-time tradition we’re proud to serve year after year. And of course, we’ll have the crowd favorite Milburn’s Apple Cider Donuts ready for you too!

Every visit helps support the Kiwanis mission of serving the children and families in our community, so come out, say hello, and treat yourself while supporting a great cause.

🎉 Celebrating Student Achievement! 🎉

The Kiwanis Club of Elkton is proud to announce the recipient of its annual Vo-Tech Scholarship—Nicolas Gomez, a senior at Elkton High School and a dedicated student in the Welding program at the Cecil County School of Technology.

Nicolas was recognized for his hard work, skill, and commitment to his craft during the School of Tech Senior Awards Ceremony on May 6, 2026.

The scholarship was presented by Kiwanis Club Secretary Bill McQuiston and Division 6 Lieutenant Governor Patty Justice, who were honored to celebrate Nicolas’s accomplishments and bright future ahead.

Celebrating 94 Years of Service! 🎈

We are thrilled to celebrate a massive milestone: the Kiwanis Club of Elkton is officially 94 years old!

Since we were first chartered in April 1932, our club has been dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time. From local scholarships and youth programs to community service projects that span decades, it has been an honor to serve our community for nearly a century.

A huge thank you to all our members—past and present—whose passion and hard work have kept our mission alive since the beginning. We also want to thank our amazing community for your continued support as we look forward to many more years of making a difference!

Exciting news for the Kiwanis Club of Elkton!

We are incredibly proud of our very own Patty Justice, current Division 6 Lt. Governor, who spent time in Ocean City, MD, April 24-26, 2026 for Capital District Kiwanis training. This session was a fantastic opportunity for Patty to learn and bond with the incoming 2026-2027 class of Lt. Governors and the new National Capital Region Trustee.

Patty is hard at work preparing for her upcoming term as the DelMarVA Region Trustee, which officially begins on October 1, 2026.
