I am thankful for every one who has made it possible for us to be safe, have electric, be able to be on the roads, etc! But I want to say a big THANK YOU to all the dispatchers who stayed the night at the dispatch on lumpy beds, cots, air mattresses or even recliners! Thank you to the dispatchers who risked their lives driving in to answer calls! You guys do not get enough credit and you do so much! Not only answering 911 calls , sending out EMS, Fire, rescue, and police! But they also call out the road dept, call the water dept when your pipes burst, take in animal calls, get someone out when you ran off the road and got stuck. They do so much and are such a vital part of the process. So THANK YOU! Thank you for taking your job seriously, thank you to Todd County dispatchers for your service to the community. You may not be seen but you are appreciated!

Todd District Court cases set for Tuesday, January 27th have been rescheduled one week to the following Tuesday, February 3rd, at the same time.

The sale of delinquent 2024 tax bills by the Todd County Court Clerk's office has been scheduled for Thursday, August 14th. If you have a delinquent 2024 property tax bill and have not entered into a payment plan with this office for that bill, you must do so no later than Friday, August 8th in order to protect the bill from the sale. If you purchased real estate in 2024 and did not receive a tax bill for that property, you should contact this office or the clerk's office to verify that the 2024 taxes were paid.

Approximately 288 notices of delinquent 2024 property taxes are being mailed out today to property owners that failed to pay their 2024 property taxes timely. Delinquent property taxes may be paid in full at the office of the Todd County Court Clerk at 200 E. Washington Street in Elkton. Alternatively, you may inquire into eligibility to participate in an installment agreement by contacting the Todd County Attorney's Office at 270-265-5651.
Failure to satisfy the delinquent property taxes or to enter into a payment plan may result in the delinquent tax bill being sold to a third-party purchaser who may impose substantial additional costs and fees. Ultimately, failure to address the delinquent bill may subject the property to a judicial sale for the satisfaction of the delinquent property tax bill.
