We are very happy to announce that we have been awarded a grant through the AMRV RC&D Council to install trailhead signs, trail signs, and trail markers throughout Sulphur Creek Trails. These pictures show a few of the items that we have already received. Be on the lookout for ways to volunteer to help with this project. We are very thankful to the AMRV RC&D Council and look forward to the positive impact that this will have on our community!

Good morning! Our Community and Trail Clean-up day is fast approaching. We will have a planning session at 6:00pm on Monday, August 15th. Please make plans to attend and provide some input. I hope to see you there!

*Community and Trail Cleanup- September 24th from 8-2
KALB will be providing buckets, grabbers, trash bags, safety vests, and gloves. Lunch will be provided by the Alabama Elk River Development Agency.

I would like to introduce you to AERDA's newest board member, Mayor Sandra Burroughs. Ms. Burroughs is the Mayor of Lexington, AL as well as the Executive Director for the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.
