Elkins Water Department Elkins Water and Sewer Department services the City limits of Elkins. A 10% late charge is applied at 4:30 on the 15th of every month.

* Bills are mailed out the last business day of every month and are due by the 15th of the following month. If the 15th of the month falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the late penalty will be applied at 8:00a.m. on the first working day after the 15th. According to CARDS management, they will not be picking up trash this week due to road conditions. They say they will be doubling their resources next week to ensure each home is serviced. They recommend using a large cardboard box for any extra trash you may have if it will not fit in your cart.

Due to the severe winter storms hitting our areas, the majority of our Monday routes across CARDS service areas will be paused due to road conditions.

Safety comes first—for our drivers and for everyone in our community. We're working to get back out Tuesday to catch any missed Monday pickups.
