Hey EHS senior parents!

Is anyone interested in helping to sponsor a Photo Booth for the senior sunset??

The cost is $350 for two hours of unlimited photos, boomerangs, GIFs & videos.

If anyone knows a business that might would sponsor, they can put their logo on the photo frames like this one attached.

This booth was set up on Friday at the EMS dance and it was a big hit with the middle schoolers.

✅ Elkin Recreation Center Annual Pass Holder Discount:
Applies only to individuals who currently hold a paid annual pass to the Elkin Recreation Center (monthly passes do not qualify).
Discounted Rates:
• Resident Individual: $75
• Resident Family: $150
• Non‑Resident Individual: $150
• Non‑Resident Family: $300
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Pass Definition:
Includes 2 adults and up to 3 children (18 & under).
Additional children (18 & under) may be added for $15 per person.
🔑 Important Information:
• Pass holders will receive a key fob for pool entry (pickup at the Elkin Recreation Center)
• Proof of Elkin residency is required for resident rates
• All pool rules must be followed—repeat violations may result in loss of pass with no refund

🏒 Parents’ Night Out: Floor Hockey Night! 🏒

Parents’ Night Out is back at the Elkin Recreation Center with a high‑energy Kids’ Floor Hockey Night on Friday, May 22 | 6–9 PM!
Inspired by Team USA’s gold‑medal win and the lack of hockey opportunities in our area, we’re bringing the game indoors with floor hockey skills, drills, games, crafts, and food—similar to our hit Wiffleball Parents’ Night Out before Valentine’s Day.
✅ Ages: K–5th Grade
💲 $10 per child
✅ Parents may sign kids in and leave the premises
⏰ Pick‑up begins at 8:45 PM
We’ll wear them out—you enjoy a night to yourself! 💛

PSA: Due to the construction of a new trailhead at Stone Mountain State Park (Segment 6), the Mountains-to-Sea Trail currently has a trail closure and detour in place near John P. Frank Parkway. Only a short section of the MST near John P. Frank Parkway is closed, but a much longer detour is required to connect through.

Get ready, Elkin families — it’s almost time! Registration for our 2026 Elkin Recreation & Parks Summer Day Camp officially opens April 1, and space will be very limited this year.
Our Summer Day Camp is packed with fun, friendship, outdoor adventures, creative activities, and a whole lot of memories waiting to be made. Kids will spend their days staying active, exploring, learning, and enjoying everything our park and community have to offer.
