We’re excited to introduce a special event designed to build confidence, skills, and a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment:

⚽💗 Girl Power Soccer Clinic

Play Bold. Build Confidence. Love the Game.

This clinic is for girls, by girls, and is led by a group of dedicated female volunteers (including former coaches!) who are passionate about growing the game and empowering young athletes.

As girls get older, confidence in sports can sometimes drop—this clinic is all about creating a positive space where they can grow, learn, and enjoy playing together.

We’ve got a busy and exciting June ahead! Here’s everything you need to know so you can make the most of your Recreation Center.

🏕️ Summer Day Camp (June 8–26)
Our Summer Day Camp runs Monday–Friday, June 8 through June 26 from 7:15 AM – 5:45 PM.
Gym Availability During Camp:
For the first week of camp : Gym will be open from 11:30am-1pm
This is to help acclimate the campers to their new daily schedules and to reduce frustrations. A better schedule will be posted after campers adjust to their new routines.

⚠️ Rainy Days: Gym fully occupied by campers

Splash Pad Update – Now Open Daily! 💦
We’re excited to share that the Elkin Recreation Center Splash Pad is now operating on its regular daily schedule 9am-9:30pm!
After a period of limited weekend-only hours due to drought conditions and water conservation efforts, we are happy to welcome families back for full-time access. Recent system maintenance has allowed us to return the splash pad to normal operations, and we look forward to providing a fun, refreshing space for our community to enjoy.
Hours of Operation:
9am-9:30pm daily
As always, we ask all visitors to follow posted rules and help us keep the facility safe and enjoyable for everyone.
We appreciate your patience and support—and we hope to see you out there soon!
