The Elkhorn Police Department congratulates Officer Sergio Chavez as he graduates from the Gateway police academy and begins his law enforcement career with our department.

Graduating from the academy is a significant achievement that reflects months of hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to serving others. Officer Chavez has successfully completed the demanding training required to wear the badge and is now ready to take the next step in his journey.

Please join us in welcoming Officer Chavez to our community. We are excited to have him serving alongside us and look forward to the relationships he will build with the citizens of Elkhorn.

While academy graduation is a major milestone, the learning continues. Officer Chavez will now begin our Field Training Program, where he will work closely with experienced officers to gain hands-on experience and continue developing the skills needed to serve our community with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.

Congratulations, Officer Chavez! We wish you a safe, successful, and rewarding career, and we are honored to have you as part of our department family.
