Woodland Elementary School

Woodland Elementary School Offering academic excellence and a well-rounded curriculum to promote student growth. Families form the core of our school community.

Woodland Elementary School serves children from a wide variety of socio-economic and culturally diverse backgrounds. We believe in academic excellence for each child within the framework of the child’s potential. To promote creative problem solving and critical thinking skills, we offer a well-rounded curriculum and an array of co-curricular opportunities. We encourage parents to continue as their

children’s primary educators and view our teachers as their partners. Working together, we challenge our students to achieve their highest potential. Elkhart Schools welcomes the community to the Woodland Elementary page. ECS has created this Page to engage our community in an informative conversation about what is happening in our schools. We intend this to be a family-friendly forum where people can ask questions, share what is going on in their schools and learn more about what is happening in Woodland Elementary. Community-contributed comments on the Page are the opinion of their author and do not represent the school district. The district abides by Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities, and asks its Facebook Fans to do the same. In particular, please do not "post unauthorized commercial solicitations (such as spam)"; "bully, intimidate, or harass any user"; "post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence"; or "do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory" on ECS' page. ECS reserves the right, but is not obligated, to remove comments that contain commercial solicitations; are factually erroneous/libelous; are off-topic; that cannot be translated into English by widely-available free online translation tools; or that otherwise violate Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities such as those listed above. Facebook encourages all users to utilize the "Report" links when they find abusive content. The Elkhart Community Schools thanks you in advance for visiting Woodland Elementary's page, and for your help in creating a safe and helpful online community here.

This first grader used her Pride Bucks to be a door holder on Friday! So many students used their manners and thanked her. Her brother in kindergarten especially liked seeing his big sister as he walked out. 😊
