Internal parasites can have a major impact on the health and productivity of sheep and goats, and traditional dewormers are becoming less effective. Parasite Patrol gives producers practical, science-based tools to monitor parasites and make more informed management decisions.
During this hands-on program, you’ll learn:
🪱 How internal parasites affect sheep and goats
💊 Why dewormer resistance is becoming a concern
🔬 How to perform f***l egg counts
📋 Strategies for building a more effective parasite-management plan
This program is designed for sheep and goat producers, but anyone interested in small-ruminant parasite management is welcome!

4-H enrollments are slowly coming in. As of this morning we have 53 members, 24 Clover Kids and 21 leaders enrolled. It is vital to complete 4-H enrollments before youth are participating in 4-H meetings & activities for insurance coverage.

The 50th anniversary celebration of the Northeast Research and Demonstration Farm is happening September 10 in Nashua!

The Dog Project group is having a fun dog show on Sunday, September 27 to help raise money for new dog agility equipment. Classes include costume class, rally obedience and agility. Three divisions- 3rd grade and under, 4th-12th grade and adult. They will also be having a silent auction.
