I am Cecilia McCormack, the Library Media Center Supervisor at Elk Rapids High School. Recently, I created a display of our yearbooks, and I am reaching out to gather as many yearbooks from the 1930s and 1940s as possible. Currently, I possess only the 1937 edition. If you have any yearbooks from this era, I would be grateful to showcase them and possibly make copies for posterity. Let’s connect and preserve our history together! Our students are always learning and doing something fun! This is from our great Biology teacher Macy Piner:

"AP Biology students had a very successful day stream monitoring!

We met with the Tip of the Mitt Watershed council to determine the stream health of Bissell Creek. Bissell Creek is connected the chain of lakes, so it’s health is very important to the region! The data collected today will be used by the watershed’s database and continuous research on the ecology and conservation of the waters."

April 24th is a very special day here at Elk Rapids High School. National Administrative Professionals Day is like a high-five for the office heroes who keep everything running smoothly.
