The City of Elk Point will be Street Prepping and Chip Sealing 1 Block of Country Club Dr. and all of Jack Nicklaus Dr., Arnold Palmer Ln., St. Andrews Ln., Robert Jones Tr., Russel St. and Pheasant Rd. on September 3rd and 4th 2026. Please do not park on those City streets during that time frame.

📚 COMMUNITY AWARENESS – STUDENT VISITING ELK POINT
Elk Point residents may see a new face around town this week!
Gabriel “Bookman” Avi, a university student from Estonia, Europe 🇪🇪, will be visiting families in the Elk Point area as part of a summer cultural exchange and internship program.
Gabriel is spending his summer in the United States meeting local families and sharing educational resources, including books and learning apps designed for children from toddlers through high school and college preparation.
Gabriel has completed the required registration with the City of Elk Point and is authorized to conduct door-to-door sales in the community.
He will be introducing himself to families throughout the area over the coming days. There is no obligation to purchase anything — this post is simply to help residents know who he is and why he may be stopping by.

Found Dog around the Load King area (Rose St/Walnut St). If you are the owners or possibly know the owners, please contact the Elk Point Police Department at 605-356-2184. Dog won't let us get close enough to catch him or take a decent enough picture. Then again, maybe the dog isn't a fan of law enforcement.
