Today, our Mobile Outreach Unit is heading to Terracina at Elk Grove to meet families where they are and provide essential resources to our community.

🚐🩷 National Night Out Week Recap: Asbury Place Apartments!

Our Mobile Outreach Unit made our final National Night Out pit stop at Asbury Place Apartments in Sacramento, and WOW! We were met by so many families who needed access to essential resources and support. This is exactly why mobile outreach matters. We’re able to bring resources directly into the communities that need them most. 🩷

A special thank you to Sacramento County Supervisors for supporting our work and to the Sacramento TOT Grant Program for helping make this outreach possible. This is your investment at work, bringing essential resources directly to Sacramento families.

The Soroptimist Live Your Dream Education & Training Awards may be an opportunity for you!

✨ Applications are open August 1–November 15, 2026
✨ Awards support women pursuing an undergraduate degree or vocational skills training
✨ Financial need is a requirement
✨ FREE virtual application workshops are available to help you complete a strong application and get your questions answered!

🏁🚐 Mobile Outreach Pit Stop: The Pardes Apartments! 🩷

Last week, our Mobile Outreach Unit made another pit stop at The Pardes Apartments in Elk Grove, bringing essential resources directly to families where they live.

As we transition to our fully mobile model, we're proud to continue meeting families where they are and providing essentials like diapers, wipes, formula, children's clothing, and other resources to families in our community.

A special thank you to the City of Elk Grove and Councilmember Rod Brewer for supporting our community and helping make outreach like this possible. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our van! We're honored to serve you and look forward to seeing you at our next pit stop. 🚐
