Housing Authority of Elizabethtown The Housing Authority of Elizabethtown offers low-income housing in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. We close for lunch from 12 PM-1 PM.

Our office is open Monday- Thursday from 8 AM-4 PM & Friday 8AM - 12PM. Applications can be picked up at 63 Public Square.

The Housing Authority waiting list has been closed as of April 1, 2026, due to extended wait times. We regret any inconvenience this may cause and will resume accepting applications at the earliest opportunity.

Housing Authority Residents: with the freezing temperatures, we ask that you please let your faucets slowly drip and you open cabinet doors under your kitchen sinks to help keep the pipes from freezing.

Please also move any cars parked on the street so the snow plows can access the roads. Everyone stay safe and warm!
