Tilly is such a great dog this is what her Dog Day Out Friend had to say about her!
Ms Tilly is 3 years old and has a gentle soul.
Today we walked Freeman Lake at a very easy pace. Ms Tilly was in her own world on our walk. With brief stops to certain noises in the woods.
When approached she gently let herself be petted.
Other dogs she met didn’t seem to matter to her. She handled the introductions like a lady.
She perked up with energy when she rolled in the grass(which happened a lot)😆
To my surprise, she did persuade me to get close to the water, and took off swimming! I was leaning very far out 😳
After our walk we went to McDonalds. Ms Tilly minded her own business staying in the back seat. I fed her fries and a plain hamburger. She gently took each bite from my hand.
Our next stop was Hobby Lobby and we slowly strolled through the store. She may have sniffed a few things but left it alone. She kindly accepted any pats.
Ms Tilly has a lot of fur. So the heat I’m sure played some role in our outside adventure. Maybe if it were cooler she’d have more pep in her step? She definitely did after her swim!
She did although not want to get in my suv backseat. I had to pretty much pick her up after each stop. At 67 pounds that was somewhat a challenge.
