We are excited to continue our Board Member Spotlight series by highlighting Elizabethtown Mayor Jeff Gregory!

A dedicated public servant with deep roots in Hardin County, Mayor Gregory brings strong leadership and a clear vision to our board. Following years of service in law enforcement as a Kentucky State Police trooper, he now leads the City of Elizabethtown with a commitment to public safety, infrastructure improvements, and sustainable growth.

Mayor Gregory understands that city infrastructure and regional development go hand in hand. His work on municipal projects, utility expansion, and community planning helps the Elizabethtown-Hardin County Industrial Foundation (EHCIF) secure industrial land, support local workforce programs, and bring high-paying jobs to our area.

Beyond his duties as Mayor and EHCIF board member, he works closely with local business leaders and civic groups to keep Elizabethtown a top place to live and work.

At Elizabethtown/Hardin County Industrial Foundation, we know that building a strong region requires both economic development and a supportive community. During our recent Facilities Manager Meeting, area industry leaders gathered not only to discuss local workforce initiatives and upcoming events, but also to hear an inspiring presentation from CASA of the Heartland Executive Director Michelle Kail, accompanied by Director of Development Miguel Flores.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of children navigating the court system due to dependency, neglect, or abuse.
