We just received word that seal coating of the following roads will begin tomorrow, June 2nd, weather permitting.

Mark Drive.

Old English Lane.
Roads will be posted when work is to begin.
Please remove all vehicles and trailers from the streets.

ZONING HEARING BOARD MEETING -
Tonight's meeting for the Franklin B. Greiner special exception application hearing (2843 Mount Pleasant Road) will be continued to June 11, 2026 due to a medical emergency on the applicant's attorney's side. This meeting will still be held to announce the continuance. No testimony, cross-examination, presentations, or similar will take place tonight.

The June 11, 2026 hearing will be held at the Elizabethtown Area Middle School Auditorium from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Notice from Mount Joy Borough Authority -They will be starting hydrant flushing this week. This will be happening, as weather permits, over the next several months. If any residents that get their public water from MJB Authority and have any concerns with

MESSAGE FROM PENNDOT - Nighttime Milling and Paving Planned May 20-21 on WB Route 283 near Mt. Joy in Lancaster County

Expect lane restrictions, delays during work hours

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a nighttime milling and paving operation on westbound Route 283 near Mt. Joy Borough in Lancaster County, is scheduled for Wednesday, May 20, and Thursday, May 21. The project limits extend from Spooky Nook Road in East Hempfield Township to Esbenshade Road in Rapho Township.
Weather permitting, night work will be conducted from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. There will be lane restrictions during work hours. There may be delays.
New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company, Inc., of New Enterprise, PA, is the contractor for this work.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
