We did it!!

I am so pleased with tonight’s results and grateful to everyone who took the time to vote in this election. This year has certainly been challenging, but it has also been extremely rewarding. I have had the opportunity to visit all 18 Towns and meet residents from all over Essex County. I have enjoyed the beautiful geography and the kind, welcoming people.

I consider it the highest privilege to have earned this opportunity to continue in the County Clerk’s Office. Thank you to the voters; my dedicated band of volunteers and supporters; my friends, family and coworkers. I could not have won this election without you!! But most of all, thank you to my friend Joseph Provoncha, whose mentorship prepared me for this position; and to my husband Ryan Dolly, whose self-sacrifice and unconditional support made it possible for me to pursue my dream. ❤️

Earlier this year, I was honored to receive endorsements from Essex County Coroner Jay Heald and Essex County Sheriff David Reynolds.

The duties and responsibilities of the countywide Elected Officials often overlap. Over the years, I have collaborated with both Coroner Heald and Sheriff Reynolds on various projects and streamlining inter-office procedures. They are both conscious of their responsibilities to the taxpayer and mindful that working together increases efficiency. I am proud of the professional relationship I have developed with both of them and grateful to have earned their support.

We took the scenic route to St. Armand this afternoon, finding beautiful country, breathtaking views, and friendly people. I have now spent time in all 18 of Essex County’s Towns, introducing myself to voters and proving that I’m ready to serve every corner of the County!!

I have had numerous opportunities to work with Chelsea Merrihew during her tenure at the Essex County Clerk’s Office. She is knowledgeable, accessible, and always helpful. Her experience in the office makes her the most qualified person to be the next County Clerk. I am happy to support her in next Tuesday’s election and encourage the voters of Essex County to do the same.
