🌎📢 COMMUNITY INPUT OPPORTUNITY 📢🌎

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is launching its 3rd round of Climate Conversations across the Commonwealth — and one of the upcoming outreach workshops will be held right here in Western Pennsylvania!

DEP will be hosting a series of community engagement sessions focused on Pennsylvania’s Climate Action Planning efforts and is looking for residents, stakeholders, and community members to help shape the next update to the Pennsylvania Climate Action Plan in 2027.

These workshops are designed to:
✅ Gather feedback on climate and environmental challenges
✅ Discuss local priorities and community concerns
✅ Share information about Pennsylvania’s Climate Action Plan 2024
✅ Connect residents with available state resources
✅ Encourage open conversation and community participation

Each session will include a facilitated listening discussion followed by a short presentation from DEP representatives.

🌱 This is a unique opportunity to have your voice heard and provide input directly to the state on issues impacting our communities and future planning efforts.

📌 Please see the attached flyer/poster for workshop details, dates, and locations.

We encourage residents, organizations, businesses, and community groups to attend and help spread the word throughout the community!

🌿✨ Clean & Green Community Day ✨🌿Thank you to everyone who came out to help during our Community Clean-Up Day! While we had a smaller turnout of volunteers, we truly appreciate those who took the time to lend a hand and help make a difference in our community. 💚
During the clean-up, we began working on improvements and cleanup efforts around the municipal grounds, and we are excited to continue building on that progress in the future. Even with a small group, a lot was accomplished, and it was great to see community pride shining through.
We look forward to hosting many more clean-up and beautification days ahead and hope to see even more volunteers join us next time. Together, we can continue making our community a place we are all proud to call home! 🏡✨
