This map is from the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry. This was the most recent update. I have comments saying other parishes are included, and I'd think it's a good idea not to burn anything in Louisiana until we get some decent rain. That's at least a week away.

Here are the parishes currently under a burn ban. While dew points are higher, the wind will be strong today. 15-25 mph wind with gusts up to 35 mph will help any wildfire spread quickly. It looks like the pattern will get wetter as we head into the first week of March, and we obviously need that!
