Today will be the last Thursday we have the Fogg House open for Costume Making. Stitch the last minute details into your costumes before Trick or Treating! The door will be open from 3 PM to 4:30 PM!

Next week the library will be hosting a Caregiver Cafe in partnership with Cornerstone VNA and AgeMaine. Join us on Wednesday, November 4th at 10:30 AM. This is a wonderful program that provides a space for those who provide support to their aging loved ones, typically with Alzheimer's or dementia, to gather and receive support themselves. This can be conversation with other caregivers, education from community organizations, or time to unwind outside of providing care. This pop-up will serve as a trail for what we hope to bring to Eliot full time. Please register by scanning the QR Code or following the link in the bio section of our profile.

Tomorrow the library has two events that are fun for the whole family! Stop by the library at 6 PM for some spooky season celebration!
In the Kent Room we are hosting Spectral Stories with Deadwick's Ethereal Emporium! Storyteller Juniper Pickwick will be sharing some kid friendly ghost tales!
The rest of the family can 'don their Halloween finery and share some mocktails at our Costumes and Cocktails party. There will be music and snacks, kids are welcome to join after the story time!

Start saving! Next month we are going to have another Swap Day weekend. In preparation for the holidays, you can collect any gently used winter clothes and toys. The drop days will be Thursday 11/12 and Friday 11/13. Bring your items by the library any time during open hours. On Saturday, 11/14 the Fogg House will be open for you to bring, swap, or grab anything you want or need!

Two sides of Saturdays at the library... in the best way of course!
Thank you so much to Rob Gutro - Ghosts and Spirits and everyone who came to see his presentation! It was such an engaging time, we hope to see Rob back, soon!
And while they learned about ghosts and spirits in the front, the Kent Room was celebrating our favorite bear, Winnie the Pooh!
There's always something to learn and celebrate with William Fogg Library!
