Thank you American Township residents for the vote of confidence to look after our community ! I am extremely honored and humbled to be your next trustee and look forward to getting to work.
Thanks to all that put signs out, shared a good word to your neighbors and friends and took the time to vote. Thanks to my wife, Jenny who walked neighborhoods with me and posted things for me. Thanks to my neice Emily for the artwork on the Facebook posts
Congratulations to Paul Basinger on re-election. Also to Louis Carter and Nathan Mailhot on a good, clean and hard working race
Most of all thanks to my Lord and Savior for giving me the courage to run for office amd now more than ever I pray he leads, guides and directs me !

One week till Election Day! I hope our community gets out to vote - and Thank You to those who already have!
A few more pieces of information as to why I would make a good Trustee.
Farming in several townships has made me aware how each has their own way of doing things such as ditch mowing, drainage, cemetery care and snow removal yet they all work together as neighbors to make things work.
As Grounds supervisor for 20 years. I worked with the Elida administration on budgets and appropraiting money to different funds. My experience and proven track record will help make me a reliable trustee.

Hello American Township residents. As you can see from some of the signs that are out, I am running for township trustee. Many of you following know about me and of you would share with others it would be appreciated.
I have lived in the Elida area my whole life. I married my high school sweetheart (Jenny )and blessed to be with her for 35 years. We have 2 sons Derrik (Jessie) and Trent (Carly). They have given us 5 grandchildren.
I consider myself a life long farmer and proud to say I retired from Elida Schools as the grounds suoervisor. I feel that many experiences of both occupations along with working with many people and organizations qualify me for this position.
Being raised on a farm by 2 great parents ( Glenn and Kathy ) instilled in me hard work, prayer, faith, family and dedication to the task at hand will get you through many things and accomplish much !
