Though we're still enjoying the brilliant warmth of summer, our thoughts will soon be turning to next January, when our beautiful Elgin Public Library will begin its historic 100th anniversary celebration! As part of this once-in-a-lifetime event, the library will be marking its past as well as planning its future, all while providing an unprecedented schedule of programs, events, and opportunities for library-community engagement involving those of all ages!
As we continue to plan for this long-term future, patron input will be critical in guiding our efforts. With this in mind, we invite everyone to complete the library's brief Centennial Survey, sharing your feelings, views, and insights with us as we attempt to better understand how the library is being used and how best it might fill its role in the years ahead. The survey will remain open throughout September, and no names or contact information will be collected.
