TPCA - Texas Police Chiefs Association

TPCA - Texas Police Chiefs Association We believe that local chiefs of police possess a thorough knowledge of the law enforcement needs within the state.

The Texas Police Chiefs Association was founded in 1958 to promote, encourage and advance the professional development of Chiefs of Police and senior police management personnel throughout the State of Texas. TPCA is a statewide law enforcement administrator's organization for Texas and, as such, it is concerned on a statewide basis with all issues involving the criminal justice system. Through an

organization such as TPCA, issues affecting the criminal justice system can be addressed both with local elected officials and the state legislature. Over five decades after its founding, TPCA actively seeks to promote the professional practice of law enforcement administration, to represent the membership and the profession on issues of concern, and to encourage high ethical standards of conduct among law enforcement administrators through its code of ethics.

South Texas law enforcement leaders came together to strengthen regional partnerships, share resources, and enhance public safety strategies.
The South Texas Police Chiefs Association was recently featured by Telemundo 40 following its regional meeting at South Texas College in Rio Grande City. Leaders from agencies spanning Laredo to Brownsville discussed collaboration, emergency coordination, and interagency support while highlighting their connection with TPCA.
Special thanks to STPCA President, Chief Jose Trevino from Palmview PD and all participating agencies for their commitment to keeping South Texas communities safe.

This Memorial Day, the Texas Police Chiefs Association pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to protecting the freedoms we hold dear will never be forgotten.
As we gather with family and friends this holiday weekend, may we take time to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Today, and every day, we honor their legacy with gratitude and respect.

WOW! We are incredibly grateful for the continued support and generosity of Local Pint in Flower Mound and everyone who participated in their annual fundraiser benefiting the Fallen Officer Fund. More than $50,000 was raised to support Texas law enforcement families.

A special thank you to the Sage and Borland families, who raised and donated over $50,000 in memory of their beloved son and brother, Zach Borland, who proudly served with the Grand Prairie Police Department. Their generosity and dedication to honoring his legacy are truly meaningful.

Tomorrow is the big and final day for our fundraiser!

Grab your raffle tickets, check out the silent auction and come drink some beers 🍻🚓

We can’t wait to see everyone tomorrow!!!

Happy Mother’s Day to the women who serve both at home and in their communities.

Today, we honor the mothers who wear many hats - caregivers, leaders, protectors, and role models. To those in law enforcement, your commitment doesn’t end when your shift does. You show strength, compassion, and resilience in every role you carry, often balancing the demands of service with the responsibilities of motherhood.

To all mothers, your impact is immeasurable. The guidance, support, and love you give shape families, communities, and future generations.

Thank you for all that you do - today and every day. đź©·
