Today makes 25 years since this tragedy has happened!!! Please take a moment of silence for the Firefighters, Police, and civilians that loss their life’s that day!!! Also remember all the service men/women that have paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting the war on terrorism!!!!

Tomorrow 12 September we will be having a 9/11 remembrance at our post from 11-3, we will have hotdogs and Bratwurst’s. We will also be doing a silent auction as well!!

SAVE THE DATES! I want to make sure that I shared the following things with you so you can mark your calendars. In addition, the VFW is putting together backpacks for homeless vets. We are in need of the following items hygiene kits, sleeping bags, socks hats mittens, nonperishable food items, sleeping bags first aid and supplies backpacks etc. These items should be new. If you are interested in donating the items please let Nikki Johnson Allmann or Sheryc Stallings know. You can always drop the items off in the box in the front of the post. We are looking to collect these items by 27 September to make sure that we are getting it to the people needing it by the winter.

Thank you to all who put their time in to make this happen. The food was amazing. Thanks for showing up! Come out on 4 Sept from 4-8 we will have live music by Andrew, veteran friendly resources available and much more.
