And that’s a WRAP on another amazing school year!! 🎉

The final two weeks were packed with laughter, excitement, anticipation, and tons of unforgettable ISASP reward fun! Students earned some seriously awesome incentives including inflatables, Speed Racer, Fashion Designer, Personal Chauffeur, Guest DJ, Celebrity Server, Tattoo Artist, Forced Formal, Go Viral, The Sign, Karaoke King/Queen, and even transformed our sidewalks into colorful masterpieces during a school-wide Chalk Walk!

Of course, we couldn’t end the year without the annual Homeroom vs. Homeroom and Staff vs. Students Tug of War battles! The competition was fierce, the laughs were nonstop, and the memories made were priceless!

Our teachers absolutely leveled up this year and went all out to make these last days memorable, exciting, and full of smiles for students.

We also took time to celebrate our 4th Quarter Kid of Character students for the positive example they set each day through their kindness, leadership, and character. We proudly recognized our Mental Health Awareness Poster Contest winners for using their creativity and powerful messages to promote positivity, kindness, and mental wellness throughout our school community.

A special congratulations goes out to Jackson Z. for receiving the DAR Youth Leadership Award! This prestigious award was established to encourage and recognize the qualities of citizenship that help keep our country strong and independent. Jackson was selected for exemplifying honor, service, courage, leadership, and patriotism each and every day. Students are nominated by their teachers for consistently demonstrating these outstanding qualities, and we are incredibly proud of Jackson for this well-deserved recognition!

We topped it all off with a delicious FroYo treat, generously provided by the Fayette County Dairy Promotion. Thank you for helping us celebrate a fantastic year!

Yesterday, our 8th graders spent the day at Beulahland - and what an unforgettable day it was! Even with the very warm temperatures, students made the most of the day and created memories that will last a lifetime. From laughter and friendly competition to spending time with classmates, the day was filled with fun from start to finish.

The purpose of the trip was to give students an opportunity to celebrate the end of their middle school journey while building teamwork and friendships through a variety of activities. Students enjoyed sand volleyball, outdoor basketball, bag games, paddle boating, canoeing, fishing, hiking, swimming, and so much more.

The class also enjoyed a delicious pizza lunch, and we would like to give a HUGE shout out to Guppy's on the Go for their generous pizza donation. Your support helped make the day extra special for our students.

BIG congratulations to NFV Middle School Band Director Abigail Toussaint! 🎶

On Friday evening at the Iowa Bandmasters Association Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony, the IBA recognized six outstanding young teachers from across the state — one representing each regional district — for their exceptional teaching, leadership, and service to their schools and students.

We are incredibly proud to share that this year’s Northeast District recipient was our very own Abigail Toussaint of North Fayette Valley Middle School! 👏🎺

Miss Toussaint’s passion, dedication, and commitment to her students shine through every day, and this honor is a well-deserved recognition of the impact she has on our band program and school community.

Congratulations, Miss Toussaint, on this outstanding achievement! NFV is so incredibly lucky to have you!

After an outstanding and memorable performance at the Iowa Bandmasters Association Conference, students celebrated with a well-deserved meal and some extra fun at Dave & Buster’s! We are so proud of the hard work, talent, and professionalism these students represented throughout the day. 🩵🩶🖤

A huge thank you to the NFV Fine Arts Booster Club for generously providing the funds for the students’ meal and celebration. Your continued support of our fine arts programs is truly appreciated and helps create memorable experiences for our students!

An air of anticipation and excitement filled the halls this morning as the 7th/8th grade band headed out to showcase their talents at the highly respected Iowa Bandmaster’s Association Conference in Des Moines.
