Just a reminder as we are back in session.
During the instructional day, any personal communications devices are expected to be turned off and put away. ๐๐ก๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐๐๐ง๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐๐ ๐ค๐๐ฉ๐ญ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ซ ๐ข๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฌ๐๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฒ.
This expectation applies to all instructional, administrative, medical, or health-related settings including, but not limited to: classrooms, hallways, libraries, lunch room, auditoriums, gymnasiums, locker rooms, or administrative offices.
Students can store their device in the main office, their backpacks turned off. Students found with a cell phone or any other communicational devices on them (in use or not) will be subject to the consequences outlined in the policy.
What are the consequences of violating this policy?
Students in violation of this procedure are subject to the following consequences:
1. First offense โ The device will be confiscated by school personnel. A verbal warning will be given. The student will receive the device back at the end of the day in the school office.
2. Second offense and subsequent offense โ The device will be confiscated. A detention will be assigned. The studentโs parent/guardian will be notified and required to pick up the device in the school office.
3. Third offense and subsequent offense the device will be confiscated A suspension will be assigned. The student parent/guardian will be notified and required to pick up the device in the School office.
