🇺🇸🚒🚑 Military & First Responder Appreciation Day at Summerfest! 🚓🇺🇸

Thank you to all who serve our communities and our country!

On Saturday, June 27, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Summerfest and Generac are honoring active-duty military personnel, veterans, police officers, firefighters, and EMTs with FREE admission.

Eligible guests may also bring up to four family members for free admission during this time.
Please present one of the following at the designated turnstile at any gate:
✔️ Military ID
✔️ DD-214 (copy or photo)
✔️ Driver's license with Veteran designation
✔️ Law enforcement or fire department agency-issued credentials
✔️ Police or fire union ID card (with photo ID)
A well-deserved thank you for your dedication and service. Enjoy a great day at Summerfest! 🎶🎡🎆

Today, we proudly recognize and honor Eldorado EMR and Firefighter Lisa Leichtfuss for her service to our country and our community.

Lisa served in the United States Air Force from 1987 to 1990, demonstrating the dedication, commitment, and spirit of service that she continues to exemplify today as a member of Eldorado Fire & Rescue.

Thank you, Lisa, for your military service and for your continued commitment to protecting and serving others. We are grateful for all that you do.

🚑 Eldorado EMRs Continuing Their Commitment to Learning! 🚑

Eldorado EMRs Lisa Marie and Vickie Michels attended the 2026 Fox Valley Regional Trauma Advisory Council Trauma Symposium today.

It was an excellent day filled with valuable education, shared knowledge, and learning from healthcare and emergency response professionals across the region. Continuing education helps ensure we provide the best possible care to our community when it matters most.

🥧 Think the Eldorado Pie Contest is only for Eldorado residents? Think again! 😁

You do NOT have to live in Eldorado to enter! Whether you're from down the road or across the county, we'd love to have you join in the fun and show off your baking skills.

Bring your favorite homemade pie and compete for bragging rights and ribbon in our throwback pie contest during the 75th Annual Eldorado Community Picnic!

📅 Saturday, July 18 📍 Eldorado Community Center 🕓 Pie Registration: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

🕠 Judging Begins: 5:30 PM

​Rumor has it, there used to be a legendary pie contest at the Eldorado Community Picnic.

In honor of our 75th Annual Picnic, we’ve decided it’s time to bring that tradition back to life!

​Do you have a secret family recipe passed down through generations? Or perhaps your own signature pie that friends always beg you to bake? We want to taste it!

Many of you are looking to get rid of the last of your brush piles.

Please avoid burning today, especially with the strong winds and low humidity creating dangerous burning conditions.

Storms are expected to move through tomorrow, which will hopefully help reduce the fire risk.

If you choose to burn today, please use extreme caution and call the Fond du Lac County non-emergency number (920) 929-3390 to report your controlled burn.

A little patience and caution can help prevent a small fire from becoming a large one. Stay safe!

For the past decade, Billy has demonstrated professionalism and commitment to serving our community. Through emergency responses, training, and hours of service, he has made a lasting impact on both the department and the people we serve.
