Joe Donald from the Hardin County Engineer’s Office recently visited Mrs. LaVelle’s classroom to share how triangles and trigonometry are used in his daily work. He shared photos of roads and projects around the county while connecting them to formulas and concepts we’ve been studying this semester.

We also learned about different bridge designs found throughout our area before putting our engineering skills to the test by building our own bridges out of toothpicks and marshmallows!
