🚧 UPRR Crossing Closure Scheduled on LaFox Road 🚧

Weather permitting, the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) will close LaFox Road at the railroad crossing located approximately ¼ mile north of Keslinger Road in Blackberry Township beginning Wednesday, June 17th.

This full road closure is necessary to allow the railroad crossing to be safely reconstructed, improving the riding surface for motorists traveling on LaFox Road.

The road is scheduled to close at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 17th, and is expected to reopen by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, weather dependent.

A posted detour route utilizing IL Route 38, Peck Road, and Keslinger Road will direct traffic safely around the construction area (see attached map).

Motorists should be prepared to reduce speed, exercise caution, and obey all posted traffic control devices while traveling through the area.
