🌳 Playground Maintenance Today🌳

Public Works will be putting down new mulch at Elburn Station Community Park, Liberty Park, and Elliott Park today.

The playgrounds at these parks will be temporarily closed while the mulch is being spread. Thank you for your patience as we complete this maintenance!

The Village of Elburn will hold its regularly scheduled Parks Commission meeting on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Village Hall 301 E. North Street. The agenda is available online at https://www.elburn.gov/meetings.

The Village of Elburn is aware of allegations made on another social media account about the misuse of ALPR data by one of our officers or in conjunction with an officer from another department. This allegation will be investigated and the Elburn Police Department will take appropriate action if any misuse is found.

The 9/11 Ride to Remember motorcycle event will travel through Elburn on Sunday, September 13, with approximately 250–400 participating riders.

The ride is expected to come through Elburn between approximately 12:00 and 12:15 p.m. The route will travel southbound on Main Street, eastbound on Route 38, southbound on Anderson Road, westbound on Keslinger Road, and then southbound on Main Street again.

Traffic may be temporarily stopped at N. Main Street/Route 38, S. Main Street/Keslinger Road, and Keslinger Road/Anderson Road while the riders pass through. Delays at these intersections are expected to last approximately 10–15 minutes.

Motorists traveling through the area around noon are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra time for travel.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE

Prairie Valley Street will be closed to the first Jewel entrance beginning at 10:00 a.m. today for water main repairs.

Please use an alternate route and allow extra time while repairs are underway. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Here are our current needs for September.

24x7 drop-off's at the Elburn Community Center - 525 N. Main St. There is a collection box inside the vestbule, at the side entrance off of the parking lot.

If you have a large drop-off or perishable items, please DM us & we can make arrangements.
