WCMCA recently participated in the first annual Lakes Area Hearts of Service Festival and it was a great opportunity to share space with community organizations who share the same passion of serving and uplifting others. There are so many great volunteer opportunities within our community. WCMCA's table promoted volunteer opportunities with the VITA Tax Preparation Program and the Home Care & Repair program. Thank you to those who organized this event!
The VITA Tax Prep Program is seeking volunteer positions to greet and conduct intake with taxpayers, as well to prepare taxes. Anyone can learn if they are willing and we provide the training/certification required. We have a great group of volunteers who work well and have fun together - we would love to welcome more volunteers!

The Home Care & Repair Program is seeking Independent Care Contractors who would like to help older adult homeowners with homemaking and chores at $20/hour. Work when you want and choose from available projects that interest you! They are also seeking applicants in need of these services.

We are excited and grateful to share that West Central Minnesota Communities Action has been selected as the winner of Old National Bank's Choose Your Charity campaign!
