The Rural and Small Town Economic Development Team is at your service here in El Paso County! Established through an Interlocal Agreement between the City and County of El Paso, the RSTED Team focuses on the economic development needs of the County outside the City of El Paso, while relying on the extensive technical and administrative support services provided by the City’s Planning and Economic
Development Departments. Let’s work together to create new economic opportunities – and jobs – for the rural areas and small towns of El Paso County. When you work with the RSTED Team to design and promote economic development strategies in your community, you are a member of the team, too. We work closely with local leaders, volunteers, community organizations and the business community in the following areas.
- Business Retention and Expansion
- Sustainability Projects
- Training & Technical Assistance
- Business Incubator Development
- Business Incentives Policy
- Micro-enterprise Development
- County Revolving Loan Fund
