What a great time at the Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo National Day Out!

Events like this are a great reminder that public safety is strongest when we come together. It was an honor to see local, state, federal, and tribal first responder agencies all in one place, connecting with one another and, most importantly, meeting and engaging with the community we serve.

These partnerships help build trust, strengthen communication, and remind our communities that we are here not only to respond when needed, but also to listen, connect, and be part of the community.

A special thank you to the Ysleta Del Sur Pueblo Tribal Police Department for the invitation and for hosting such a great event. We appreciate the opportunity to join our fellow first responders and the community for a fun and meaningful day!

Today, on National Police Women’s Day, the El Paso County Constable’s Office, Precinct 1, proudly recognizes Deputy Lucero Quintana.

Deputy Quintana is an outstanding example of the professionalism, dedication, and versatility that women bring to the law enforcement profession. With extensive patrol experience, she has dedicated herself to protecting and serving the community while continually expanding her skills and responsibilities.

Beyond her patrol duties, Deputy Quintana proudly serves as a member of the Border Patrol Multi-Agency Honor Guard, representing the professionalism and respect of the law enforcement community during ceremonies and moments of remembrance.

She also serves as a negotiator with the Crisis Negotiation Team (CNT), a specialized role that requires patience, communication, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm during some of the most difficult situations officers may encounter.

These roles reflect more than training and experience—they reflect a willingness to serve wherever she is needed.

At the El Paso County Constable’s Office, Precinct 1, we are proud to have Deputy Quintana as part of our team and grateful for the many ways she represents our agency and our commitment to the community.

Today, we celebrate Deputy Lucero Quintana and all the women in law enforcement who continue to lead, serve, and make a difference every day.

Some dates become part of who we are. September 11 is one of them.

Twenty-five years later, we remember a day that tested the strength of a nation—but also revealed something just as powerful: people running toward danger while others were running away.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the first responders who answered the call without knowing what the next moment would bring.

For those of us who wear a badge today, September 11 is more than a date in history. It is a reminder of the responsibility that comes with choosing a life of service. It reminds us that courage is not the absence of fear—it is the decision to do what is right despite it.

Today, the El Paso County Constable’s Office, Precinct 1, honors those who never made it home, those who survived, and those who continue to carry the weight of that day.
Twenty-five years later, we remember.

WANTED PERSONS ARRESTED BY DEPUTIES

EL PASO, TX - On September 3, 2026, Deputies with the El Paso County Constable’s Office, Precinct 1 conducted a warrant roundup operation targeting individuals with outstanding criminal warrants throughout the county of El Paso.
Deputies responded to the Parole Office at Founders Boulevard in El Paso, Texas, after receiving information regarding an individual with a parole violation. Deputies identified and arrested 63-year-old Robert Christopher Montgomery at the listed location. Montgomery was immediately taken into custody without incident.
Montgomery was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on the following charge:

• PAROLE VIOLATION — No Bond


During the same operation, Deputies responded to a residence at the 300 block Phil Hansen Dr. in Canutillo, Texas. Deputies located 48-year-old Nolberto Coronado inside the home. Coronado was immediately taken into custody without incident.
Coronado was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on the following charge:

• ASSAULT FAM/HOUSE MEMBER IMPEDE BREATH CIRCULATION — $3,000 Bond

Deputies later responded to another residence at the 13000 of block of Paseo Sereno Dr. in El Paso, Texas. Deputies located 40-year-old Ana Maria Castillo inside the residence. Castillo was immediately taken into custody without incident.
Castillo was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on the following charge:

• ASSAULT CAUSES BODILY INJURY FAMILY VIOLENCE — $3,000 Bond

All three individuals arrested were wanted on matters unrelated to each other.

The El Paso County Constable’s Office, Precinct 1 remains committed to locating individuals with outstanding warrants and taking individuals wanted for violations of the law into custody.
