Finding Hillary Voters
As a veteran of a movement to draft someone to run for president and two presidential campaigns, I know first hand that one of the most difficult things for a political campaign to do is get supporters actively involved early in the game. As a field director I really respect once told me, "Movements grow geometrically. When a campaign kicks off, the more people you start wi
th, the faster and bigger your campaign will grow." That insight was the reason I started Voting for Hillary. The idea is to get as many Hillary supporters as possible to publicly show their support by wearing a "Voting for Hillary" bracelet. And, by doing so, to get others to show their support. And so on, and so on…. This way, we tell Hillary and the pundits how much support there is out there. "Hey, we're here. We're going to elect Hillary President in 2016. There's a whole bunch of us and our numbers are only going to get bigger." My campaign days are over now, but this is my way to stay involved. I've had my "Hillary 2016" bracelet on for a few weeks now and am amazed (but not surprised) how many people ask me about it. With everything going on in Washington these days, people always want to talk about politics. 2016 always comes up -- it's a great conversation-starter. I hope you enjoy wearing our bracelets.
