Everyone please be aware of the changes from Marches past... the event this year will be held on SATURDAY, March 16, 2024!

TX EMTF sets up the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) at the finish line of the March to take care of Marchers. This is a prime opportunity to get trained and exposed to setting up, living in, and delivering care out of the MMU!

The last time a Bataan Memorial Death March was held at White Sands Missile Range, I was a Marcher, hoping that my boot selection would prevent me from being a patient at the MMU for a third year in a row. Four years and one global pandemic later, I witnessed, now from behind-the-scenes, 125 members of TX EMTF, BorderRAC, West Texas Medical Reserve Corps, American Red Cross, and all of our partner agencies return in full force to support BMDM Marchers at the finish line. Whether it was your first time supporting the March (like me), or your tenth time, I couldn’t have been prouder of everyone who united and served as One Team.
