💛 Celebrating Grandparents Day! 💛

In celebration of Grandparents Day, we’re sharing a few special memories made with our wonderful grandparents and their grandchildren.

❤️🤍💙 Gratitude, Service & Community ❤️🤍💙

In remembrance of September 11 and in appreciation of our local first responders, the Tom Lea Student Ambassadors teamed up with Operation Gratitude to deliver a care package and some sweet treats to Fire Station #30.

Our students had the opportunity to personally thank our firefighters for all they do to serve and protect our community. In return, the firefighters gave our Student Ambassadors a special tour of the station and a closer look at the important work they do each day.

Experiences like this remind our students that kindness, gratitude, service, and unity help build a stronger community.

Thank you to Fire Station #30 for welcoming our students, and thank you to Operation Gratitude for helping us show our appreciation, and thank you to the Blanchard family for donating the sweet treats.

🇺🇸 Flags for First at Tom Lea Elementary! 🇺🇸

Today, we were honored to welcome La Société des Quarante Hommes et Huit Chevaux (V605.40et8) to Tom Lea Elementary for a special “Flags for First” presentation with our first-grade students.

Our students learned about the history of the American flag, what it represents, and proper flag etiquette.

To make the experience even more memorable, each first grader received a special surprise—their very own American flag to take home!🇺🇸

Thank you to our special guests for taking the time to educate our students and share the importance of honoring and respecting our nation’s flag. We appreciate your continued support of our students and school community!

📚Thank You to Our Amazing RAD Readers! 📚

A special thank you to SFC Espinosa and our wonderful friends from the Texas National Guard, along with all of our incredible parent and community volunteers, who joined us on Tuesday, September 8, for our RAD (Read Across the District) event!

Our special guests took time out of their day to read to our Tom Lea students, share smiles, and help inspire a love of reading.

We are so grateful for your time, support, and commitment to our students and school community. Thank you for helping make RAD such a meaningful and memorable experience! 🫶

A huge THANK YOU to the wonderful families and community organizations that joined us for our Andress Feeder Back to School Picnic today!

We are incredibly grateful to The North Hills Neighborhood Pride Association, We Hike Adventure, Northeast Soccer League, and El Paso Center for Children for taking the time to connect with our families, share resources, and support our school community.

A very special thank you to our amazing FCF Family Interventionist Specialist, Ms. Bautista, and our wonderful Military & Family Life Counselor (MFLC), Ms. Chavez, for your continued dedication and support of our students and families.

Your partnership, time, and commitment help strengthen the connection between our schools, families, and community. We are so fortunate to have such amazing partners supporting our students and families!
