Today, Center of Hope had the opportunity to attend the Charles Schwab Safety Preparedness Fair alongside EPPD and other incredible community partners!

We’re grateful for opportunities to come together, connect with our community, share resources, and raise awareness about human trafficking and the services available to survivors.

Thank you, Charles Schwab, for bringing local organizations together and making space for important conversations around safety, awareness, and prevention!

Center of Hope is proud to spotlight a community advocate, Beth Ramirez, for her work in bringing awareness to anti-trafficking efforts locally and nationally.

Born and raised in El Paso, Beth is passionate about human trafficking prevention. As a Pilot spending a lot of time in airports, where human trafficking is prevalent, Beth decided to join the fight against human trafficking. Since then, she has founded Women with Wings, bringing women in aviation together to raise awareness and combat human trafficking, as well as Pilots Against Trafficking, a prevention initiative that encourages pilots to connect with youth and introduce them to careers in aviation. She also trains airport staff, Airport Angels, to recognize the signs of human trafficking and how to make a report.

In continuing her anti-trafficking efforts, Beth is partnering with Monstera Deliciosa Café to host Coffee for a Cause. Together, they have created a special drink called Blue Wings Latte in support of Anti-Human Trafficking.
