Today, we recognize the hardworking men and women whose dedication, skill and service help keep our communities moving forward.

From those serving our residents every day to workers across every industry, thank you for the important role you play in making El Paso County a great place to live, work and call home.

In observance, all County administrative office and the Enrqiue Moreno County Courthouse are closed. All operations will resume Tuesday, September 8th.

In observance of Labor Day, Monday, September 7th, All County Administrative offices and the Enrique Moreno County Courthouse will be closed.

El Paso County Economic Development Staff met with representatives from Durango, Mexico, to explore opportunities for collaboration and strengthen the longstanding ties between our two regions.

During the meeting, Economic Development Staff discussed potential collaborative agreements focused on tourism, ecotourism, museum exhibitions, and economic development.

Staff also promoted the Tornillo–Guadalupe Port of Entry as a strategic and competitive alternative for commercial cargo originating in Durango and traveling through the Paso del Norte region, highlighting its potential to strengthen supply chain connectivity, improve access to key transportation corridors, and support greater trade opportunities between our regions.

The meeting provided an opportunity to explore new strategies to promote the unique attractions and cultural assets of both regions, create new economic opportunities, strengthen supply chain connections, and advance binational collaboration.

We look forward to future collaborations that support tourism, trade, economic development, and new opportunities for our communities. 🇺🇸🤝🇲🇽
