College application season is officially underway at HSI MH! With hands-on support from representatives from UTEP and EPCC, our Class of 2027 seniors created their ApplyTexas accounts and completed applications to both institutions.

This was more than an application session—it was a major step toward turning their post-graduation goals into real plans. We are incredibly proud of our seniors for taking charge of their futures! ⛏️✨

Future college graduates in the making! 🎓✨

Our Class of 2031 recently visited El Paso Community College to experience campus life and begin imagining where their own paths could lead. Students explored classrooms, academic programs, career-focused spaces, the library, and other campus resources while learning more about the opportunities available after high school.

High school may be their next step, but it is never too early to dream, ask questions, and start planning for the future. We are proud to see our eighth graders looking ahead and discovering new possibilities! 💙💛

Our Class of 2027 seniors took an exciting step toward their futures with personalized, hands-on support completing and submitting their NMSU applications! 🎓✨

A huge thank-you to the New Mexico State University representative who visited HSI MH and guided our students through the application process. We are proud to see our seniors turning their college goals into action—one application at a time!

Connecting our students with support! 🐺💙

Last week, Mr. Fronce, our Communities In Schools of El Paso Program Coordinator, visited PE classes to help students learn how CIS can support their academic success, social and emotional wellness, goal setting, attendance, and connection to family and community resources.

Students learned that they can ask for help themselves or be referred by a parent, teacher, or friend. Most importantly, they were reminded that they do not have to wait until a problem becomes a crisis to reach out.

🎉🎉 We are incredibly proud to celebrate Marco Sanchez for receiving the 2026 Congressional Commendation Award yesterday from our Congresswoman, Veronica Escobar. This prestigious recognition honors outstanding community leaders who demonstrate exceptional achievement, leadership, service to their community, and impact.
Marco has been an exemplary leader not only on our campus but throughout our community and beyond. He has advocated for the importance and equal accessibility of STEM education while also serving as a strong voice for youth and inspiring others through his actions and service.
We proudly congratulate Marco on this well-deserved achievement! 👏👏
