Mr. Smith has served Harmony Public Schools for more than 13 years as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal. He began his Harmony journey at HSI and previously served at the campus in its former location.

Mr. Smith is excited to return to the HSI community, reconnect with familiar faces, and build new relationships with students, families, staff, and community members.

As the school year approaches, please be on the lookout for emails and other communications from Mr. Smith as he works to reconnect with the community and learn more about the experiences, perspectives, and aspirations of our students, families, and staff.

Looking for a fun, active, and confidence-building summer experience for your student? Join us this July for our HSI MH Cheer & Dance Summer Camp open to BOTH middle school and high school students! 🐺☀️

Students will build cheer and dance skills while learning teamwork, leadership, coordination, school spirit, and performance skills in a fun and supportive environment. Whether your child is brand new to cheer and dance or already has experience, this camp is designed for everyone! 💙❤️

🐺❤️ Class of 2026 Giving Back to HSI MH ❤️🐺

As our seniors prepare to begin their next chapter, they are also helping support the next generation of HSI MH students through our Uniform Donation Drive! 👕✨

We are accepting gently used school uniforms to help future Wolves start strong and ensure students in need have access to uniforms throughout the school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to give back to our HSI MH community and support one another. 💙

📍 Donation Drop-Off Opportunity:

🎓 During Diploma Pickup

Uniform donations are NOT limited to graduating seniors. Any HSI MH family is welcome to donate gently used uniforms, including families from other grade levels whose students may have outgrown their uniforms. We are happy to accept all donations throughout the year! 🐺

📍 Can’t make diploma pickup?
Uniform donations will also be accepted at the HSI MH Front Office throughout the school year.

Every donation helps make a difference for future students by supporting families, strengthening our school community, and helping future Wolves feel confident and prepared for success. ❤️💙

🎉🏆 HUGE Congratulations to HSI MH Senior Sarah C.! 🏆🎉

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Sarah C. for earning **1st Place** in the City of El Paso District 4 “Reimagine Northeast” Logo Design Contest and winning a **$1,000 scholarship** sponsored by NEBA and Dal-Tile El Paso! 🎨✨

The competition, led by District 4 Representative Cynthia Boyar Trejo, invited graduating seniors from schools across Northeast El Paso to create a logo that would become a lasting symbol of the Northeast community. Sarah’s winning design stood out among talented student submissions and will now help represent the vision and identity of Northeast El Paso moving forward. 🌟

At HSI MH, we are proud to be a STEM-focused campus, but achievements like this remind us that our students excel in so much more than science, technology, engineering, and math. Our students are also artists, creators, leaders, and innovators who use their talents to make meaningful contributions to the community around them. 💙🐺

A special congratulations as well to Ms. Walsh for supporting and encouraging our students’ creativity and artistic talents throughout the process. 👏🎨
