This month: Start a Conversation. Be the Difference.

September is National Su***de Prevention Month - a month to highlight the importance of connecting with people and the resources available for preventing su***de. It's a time to remember those affected by su***de also. Please take a moment and have a conversation with your Soldiers.

With one conversation, asking someone how they’re really doing — and being ready to truly listen — can save lives. Because here’s what we know: No one has to face this alone. Help exists. Healing is possible. And all it can take is for one person to start a conversation.
***dePrevention #988

Here’s what you can do:
• Ask directly: “Are you thinking about harming yourself?”
• Keep them safe: Limit access to lethal means.
• Listen actively: Let them share without judgment.
• Connect them to help: Dial 988, press 1, or text 838255.

One of the hardest and most at challenging courses out there, Battle Staff. One of the best skills and sets of capabilities an NCO can develop. One of the most valued by leaders.

Our very own SFC Moral graduated from Battle Staff. She's a great NCO who anticipates what needs to be done. We are super proud of her and her commitment to the Soldiers, the NCO Corps and 77th QM Group.

What an awesome day. We could not be more proud. Our very own MSG(P) Lucatero. Such an incredible reason to celebrate. Today he graduated the Sergeants Major Academy. It’s been a long, tough, challenging course.

Next week MSG (P) will be promoted to E9((Sergeant Major(SGM) and will be pinned to Sergeant Major and rejoin the 77th Quartermaster Group as the Support Operations SGM👏🏻

Please give a hearty congratulations to the new graduate and soon to be SGM.

The LOBO cup is an annual competition where our units focus on being strong in multiple areas of readiness. Building teams of effective and capable individuals and units. Annually we come together to have a competition to see who our top fuelers are, our top water dogs, our top laundry and bath specialists, and our top drivers. We all convoy to a central location, conduct operations and build our readiness.

This year we thought we’d add another event, tug of war… officers against nco’s…..

Who do you think came out on top?????

Fuel the Fight!

The Russia-Ukraine conflict has reached a stalemate over the past two years.

Tactical-level combat power losses in both the Russian Ground Forces (RGF) and Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) have reduced the operational-level endurance necessary to bring the conflict to an end. In any future large-scale combat operation against a pacing or acute threat, U.S. Army units must be prepared to conduct operations in a contested logistical environment. To train as it will fight, the U.S. Army must emphasize conserving sufficient combat power during collective training of tactical combat tasks.

This paper presents endurance-related observations from the Russia-Ukraine conflict and U.S. Army collective training events, discusses potential impacts on the U.S. Army, and offers recommendations to mitigate identified challenges.
