This month, we're shining the spotlight on Benny Medrano, Branch Manager at WestStar Bank and proud Young Leaders Society member.
Benny's passion for leadership and community service is rooted in personal experience. After benefiting from the support of nonprofit organizations earlier in life, he now believes in paying it forward and helping create opportunities for others. In his role at WestStar Bank, Benny focuses on developing strong teams, supporting clients as they reach important financial milestones, and creating positive experiences that strengthen the community.
Since joining YLS following an invitation after ENGAGE Summit, Benny has embraced opportunities to grow his leadership skills, expand his network, and connect with other young professionals who share a passion for making El Paso stronger.
"Years ago, nonprofit organizations made a meaningful difference in my life. Now it's my turn to give back and support the community that helped shape who I am today."
For Benny, showing up for the community isn't just important, it's an investment in the future of El Paso.
