Mission: The mission of the Imperial County Public Health Department is to promote, protect, and support the health of people, the environment, and our communities. The Imperial County Public Health Department operates Health Services and Community-focused programs, which range from health education, disease and injury prevention, environmental health services, and long-range public health plannin

Flavored to***co products are widely recognized as increasing the appeal of to***co, particularly among younger and new users. In 2024, approximately 73.5% of adults aged 18 and older in Imperial County reported using flavored to***co products, according to the California Department of Public Health.

The Public Health Department is seeking a Vector Control Technician to support vector surveillance, treatment, and abatement activities throughout Imperial County. This position helps protect public health by controlling vector populations using chemical, physical, and biological techniques.

Requirements:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and sufficient training and experience to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities required for the position.

Licenses and other requirements:
Valid California driver’s license. Valid and appropriate vector control certification issued by the State Department of Health Services.
