⚡✈️ Before heading to Washington, D.C., this year’s Youth Tour delegates, Brody Payne and Paisley Hlavaty, spent the day at WCEC learning more about the cooperative they’ll represent on the trip.

From trying on safety gear to touring the office and riding along with our Line Superintendent in the field, they got a behind-the-scenes look at how electricity is delivered to our members and the people who power our lives every day.

We enjoyed getting to know Brody and Paisley and sharing what makes the cooperative difference so special.

Please join us in wishing them a safe trip as they depart Sunday for the 2026 Electric Cooperative Youth Tour. We know they’ll represent WCEC and our community well!

Thank you, WCEC Members! 💙

Despite the rainy weather, 821 members came out last week for WCEC’s 88th Annual Meeting of Members. All incumbent board members were re-elected, all reports were approved, and the meeting was another successful day for the cooperative.

Voting members should see their $20 bill credit on this month’s bill. Door prize winners were drawn Thursday, May 28, on Facebook Live.
