Hello Facebook Family! 2021 is almost done! We are all Hopeful that we find, Peace, Mercy, Love, & Forgiveness in 2022😀. Now back to 2021! Thank you all for your precious time, materials and financial donations to the San Diego Coalition for the Homeless. Here are some of, but, not all the folks that gave to the Coalition this year! Hello Facebook Family!!! Here is a Family that received gifts in 2020 from the San Diego Coalition of the Homeless. I would like to thank them for sharing these pictures with us from Christmas day to see the wonderful celebration, and the smiling faces of the children opening presents. In addition, this is the same family gave us a Christmas card & gift. Can we ask for anything more? Please keep this wonderful family and all the other families that you contributed to a Happy New Year and New beginnings in the Year 2021!!!
In addition, here are some more families that we were able to bless!!!!
I pray that everyone is safe and has a bed to sleep in and food to eat in this New Year from the San Diego Coalition of the Homeless family!

Hello All, the Holiday Magic for Kids' party is cancelled this year for so many reasons, not because the Grinch Stole Christmas but...



1. Cases of Covid-19 on the rise do not to put anyone at risk.

2. Late start due to Covid-19.

3. Contact with schools and children very difficult if not impossible this year.

4. Location Golden Hall rented out by St Vincent's De Paul rented out until 2021 for the out-of-place families during Covid-19 (a blessing for families). Found a new location had it all set up, unfortunately, Bill checked out the property over the weekend and it was way too busy with businesses that are on the same block as the event.

5. Volunteers need to be at least six feet apart this will be an issue due to small space to work in at time of event. In addition, we do not want to risk anyone during this wonderful time of giving.

The good news is we are still active in the community, distribution of food (Bill, Rebecca Cardenas & family) HUGE thank you!!!! We still have our email and phone to assist anyone with the information that they might need at this crucial time for housing, placement, and just someone to talk to if needed.



To all of you again I will say this everyone time I correspond with all of you a HUGE thank you for all that you do!!! Donors, Schools, Volunteers, Vendors, San Diego Food Bank, and last BUT far from least our Health Care Workers and Fire Departments!!!! By God's grace the schools will be able to open by 2021, and in addition, the children will all have safe places to live that they can call home! Food to eat for a well-balanced life in their bright future.

days have changed it will begin and end:
* December 17th, Tuesday 9:00am-8:00pm.
* December 18th, Wednesday 9:00am-8:00pm.
* December 19th, Thursday 9:00am-8:00pm Loading up.

Thank you all!! This is an exciting time for the San Diego Coalition for the Homeless. We have over 600 children signed up, and we still have a month available to sign up more children. Please spread the word on the sign up as well.

Hello, Everyone:)
I want to thank everyone for spreading the word about the Christmas Party on December 21, 2019. Downtown at the Civic Center 202 C Street
San Diego California 92101
Hosted by the San Diego Coalition for the Homeless. I would like to bring up our 10 & 12 year olds that sign up for a gift. I noticed my first year (2018) that there was not a lot of gifts for that age group, can I please suggest if you would like to donate a gift please keep them in mind. I know no one wants to see the disappointment look on that boy or girls face when we give them a gift for a 5 or 6 year old:(. In addition, I have already signed up over 150 children YAY!!!! We still have over a month to go for sign up. Thank you for all that you do to benefit our families in need.

Hello Everyone, has you know it is cold for San Diego Weather. The San Diego Coalition for the Homeless is helping out our Fellow Men, Women and Children in the area of El Cajon with rooms in hotel for our winter months (it has been 40 degrees or less in the El Cajon area). We have already started with rooms for this month, however, we need everyone's help to keep this mission going. We have started a Go Fund Me page. Anything would help please give to our neighbors that are in need. In addition, you can go to PayPal, or drop to the office or send in the mail located at, 275 East Douglas Ave., Suite 105, El Cajon Ca 92020-4546. Thank you for all your help!
