⚠️ Know Before You Go: Facility Power Outage Update

Due to an ongoing power outage, Ben’s Lake Marina, Postl Point Outdoor Recreation, and FamCamp are currently without power. For the safety of our customers and staff, all affected offices will close today, January 25, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.

Happy Summer Fest! Just a heads up we will be closing the shop early today due to Summer Fest and short staffing. Gas sales will be unavailable after 1 p.m. today. Forklift operations will continue as normal hours of operation today. We apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause.

In support of Summer Fest Ben's Lake parking lot will be closed at 4:00pm to midnight.

Get ready! Summer Fest is TOMORROW, August 8, beginning at 6 PM at the Bayview Community Center. 🎼🎸 We're so excited to see you and have an amazing night of music, food, and fun.

🚗 Parking Information
To make sure everyone has a great time, we've got some specific parking instructions:
🟢 Primary Parking: Eglin Hospital
🟡 Overflow Parking: After 5 PM, you can use the Eglin Child Development Centers (CDC II & CDC III).
🔵 FREE Shuttle Service: We'll have complimentary shuttles running to and from all parking locations. Shuttles will be available from 4:45 PM to 6:20 PM and again from 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
❗Please do not park at the Bayside Inn or on the shoulders of Boatner Road and its adjacent streets. The 96th Security Forces Squadron (96 SFS) will be on-site to help with parking, and we appreciate your cooperation!

🍽 Delicious Food Trucks
Come hungry! We'll have a variety of fantastic food trucks on-site all night, including the incredible Legends Food Truck. (No outside food or drink permitted.)

🎸 Don't Forget your Chance to WIN an Autographed Guitar
• Bring the other half of your ticket(s) that you have collected to Summer Fest on August 8th.

🚨Jan. 24 Eglin AFB Weather Update🚨

Eglin AFB will return to normal operations with delayed reporting Friday, Jan. 24. Report time for personnel will be no earlier than 8 a.m.

The following support functions will open for normal operations on Friday, Jan. 24 at the following times:
⚪️Breeze and Lightning Dining Facilities: 11 a.m.
⚪️Commissary: 9 a.m.
⚪️East Gate Shoppete and West Gate Shopette: 8:30 a.m.
⚪️Eglin Base Exchange: 9 a.m.
⚪️Eglin CDCs and Eglin Youth Center: 8:30 a.m.
⚪️Eglin AFB Hospital: 8:30 a.m.

Those travelling to Eglin should continue to exercise caution on the local roadways as isolated patches of ice on roads and bridges may still be present and could be hazardous.
