Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company Donations accepted year round via Venmo -Fire. We have two stations servicing the residents of the Cardiff section of EHT.

Established in 1927, Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company is one of five all Volunteer Fire Companies in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. Station 1 is located at 6609 Black Horse Pike and Station 2 is located at 4049 English Creek Avenue. Cardiff Residents and Business Community: Our 2026 mail in fund drive is still underway. Our 2nd mailing was sent out. If you can, please help us to help you in your time of need. We accept any donation you can give us. We have a Venmo option also printed on our flyer. We are 100% volunteer, we operate 2-fire stations, maintain 2 engines, 1 rescue engine and 1 Tower/Ladder platform all to better serve our community. Come join our team in 2026. The Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company #1 is seeking new members. Come learn a new skill set, build new relationships, serve our great community with us. On 8/31/2026 at 0910 am members of the Cardiff and Bargaintown Volunteer Fire Companies were dispatched to the 6600 block of the Black Horse Pike for a vehicle fire. Rescue 1517 responded from Cardiff along with apparatus from Bargaintown. Upon arrival the vehicle was fully involved. Firefighters on scene were supported by the EHT police department and the EHT rescue squad. There were no injuries. The incident commander was Bargaintown Chief Gene Sharpe.

On 8/27/2026 members of the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company #1 participated in a company drill. Members trained with the Hurst Rescue Tools. This training was led by Captain Kevin Weatherby and Lieutenant Will Danz. Your volunteers are always training to better serve the public.

Governor Sherrill is signing my legislation, S757, into law. This bill helps local governments finance the acquisition of firefighting apparatus and equipment — cutting through red tape so our fire departments can get the vehicles and gear they actually need, when they need them.

Our firefighters put their lives on the line for us. The least we can do in Trenton is make sure they’re not stuck fighting outdated funding rules on top of it.

Grateful for the partnership with Senator John Burzichelli that got this done.
