‼️Trash Collection Update for Egg Harbor Township Residents ‼️

Trash collection will resume tomorrow, February 26, 2026.

If your regular trash day is Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, your trash will be collected sometime on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday of this week.

Residents are asked to place their trash at the curb beginning this evening, Wednesday, February 25, 2026.

We kindly request that residents refrain from yelling at our snowplow operators.

Although many are experiencing frustration, confronting the operator only delays snow clearing for the community. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this blizzard cleanup.

2026 Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Events ⚠️

ACUA's drop-off events give Atlantic County residents the opportunity to safely dispose of hazardous materials including rechargeable batteries, v**e pens, motor oil, fluorescent light bulbs, oil-based paint, and more. The first of the year is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2026.

The events are free for Atlantic County residents. (Proof of residency required.)

Please note the following one-day delay for trash collection during the holiday week:

🗑 Thursday’s trash will be collected on Friday
🗑 Friday’s trash will be collected on Saturday

All other collection days remain unchanged.
